Love to the Paws

The Leo Club of the University of Vavuniya successfully organized “With Love to the Paws – බව්වන්ට ආදරයෙන්” on August 2, 2025, at Salambaikulam. This compassionate initiative, conducted under the Wildlife and Life Below Water category, focused on the welfare of stray animals. Volunteers provided food, and water to animals in need, while also raising awareness about humane treatment and environmental cleanliness. Through active community engagement, the project promoted kindness, responsibility, and harmony between people, animals, and nature. The initiative highlighted the importance of empathy and collective action in creating a caring and sustainable environment. A small act of love can make a big difference — together, we care for all living beings.
