The Annual Leo District Conference – AURA 20 was truly a night to remember for the Leo Club of the University of Vavuniya, as we proudly shone on the grand stage of Leo District 306 B1. Held on 7th June 2025 at Eagle’s Lagoon View, Negombo, the event brought together Leos from across the district to celebrate service, leadership, and excellence. Our club made history by securing an impressive 22 awards, including two of the highest honors — Most Outstanding University/Institute-based Omega Leo Club and Most Outstanding Leo Club with Highest Net Membership Growth. In addition, our wide range of impactful initiatives in innovation, drug prevention, peace and cultural activities, fundraising, sports, environmental sustainability, research and development, children’s empowerment, clean water and energy conservation, disaster management, and responsible waste management earned top recognitions. The night also celebrated our members’ individual excellence, honoring our outstanding staff advisor, secretary, vice president, treasurer, and digital transformation champion.
